What's new in this release?

Template Manager Application

Last year, we enhanced flexibility for managing email notifications at the individual module level. This feature has been further extended, allowing email notifications for the following categories to be managed individually within the Template Manager application:

  • Modules > Allocation
  • Modules > Due Date Reminders
  • Modules > Award Expiry

By default, all notifications are enabled (ON), but admins now have the ability to choose which notifications to disable.

NOTE – When an individual notification is disabled (OFF), this change will only apply to newly created modules. However, you can still control email notifications at the module level. For any questions regarding this feature, please contact the Frog Service Desk.

User Interface Update

Based on customer feedback, the buttons to close, minimize, and maximize pop-up windows will now be displayed in red. This change is designed to make it more obvious to learners completing modules with links to SCORM activities and external sites that they should close the pop-up window rather than the entire browser.

BUG FIXES

This release includes the following bug fixes:

Modules

  • JIRA# NFC-3330 - Resolved an issue where the following widgets within a module could not be edited or saved if an individual email notification for the module was disabled (OFF). The issue has now been fixed, allowing edits to be made and saved for the following widgets:
    • Event
    • Task Text Submit
    • Task File Submit
  • JIRA# NFC-3325 / NFC-3320 - Resolved an issue where some learners were not having modules correctly displayed in the “My Learning” widget when they were manually added by an admin using the “Add to Catalogue” button.
  • JIRA# NFC-3241 - Some customer SCORM content contains a quiz at the end but depending on the user’s workflow to close the SCORM content, while the score is written back to the platform, the SCORM activity may not reflect the correct status — particularly when the SCORM player has a module completion set to “Score greater than passmark.” To resolve this, a nightly background task will run to check all SCORM activities. If a score has been recorded that meets the completion criteria, the activity will be updated to “Completed” status. Additionally, if a module contains a single activity with no further learner interaction, the overall module will also be marked as “Completed.”
