The problem

DCUK were quick to recognise the need for its own reseller network to fully understand their product range and legislation on items such as car seats. 

Retail staff need to be able to confidently explain and demonstrate the UPPAbaby range to first time parents who often have little knowledge as to the needs of a new baby and how their lives are about to change.  Asking the right questions and demonstrating the right features is crucial, in maximising sales success.

The baby market is competitive and UPPAbaby products are invariably sold side by side with other brands.  It is a useful advantage for retail staff to be more aware and knowledgeable of UPPAbaby than other products.

The need to train resellers is nothing new.  However, with the difficulty of shift patterns and the availability of busy shop staff in hundreds of individual stores – face-to-face training for all staff is not commercially practical.
